Come and Sing Day

Registration form below

Come and join us on Saturday 14 October for what promises to be a hugely enjoyable day as we rehearse some of the very best of English choral music, building to an informal ‘sing through’ before we finish at 4pm.

Much of this music has graced some of the UK’s greatest State occasions, notably Parry’s monumental ‘I Was Glad’; and John Tavener’s haunting ‘Song for Athene’, a piece performed so memorably at Princess Diana’s funeral almost exactly 20 years ago.

So do come. You never know, you might end up joining us permanently!  And we’d be delighted if you did.

Date: 14th October 2017

Time: 10am – 4pm

Place: Christchurch, Malvern Road, Cheltenham GL50 2JH

Cost: £15 includes hire of music, plus tea and coffee. Please bring your own lunch.

Music

Elgar – Ave Verum

Parry – I was Glad
