Welcome to the website of
Cheltenham Bach Choir

Registered charity No. 261961

President: Sarah Walker CBE

Music Director: Stephen Jackson

The CBC is one of the foremost choral societies in the South West of England. We offer a top quality package: a high standard of singing, one of the country's finest choral directors, first class orchestras and a very friendly group of people.

We have a wide-ranging repertoire covering music from the 16th to the 21st centuries.

Our reputation is known well outside the local area and, as a result, we have been invited to take part in a number of prestigious events including Carmina Burana in the BBC Proms, an Opera Gala in Symphony Hall, Birmingham (with the Hallé Choir), Beethoven's 9th Symphony, music from Porgy and Bess and Purcell's King Arthur as part of the Cheltenham International Music Festival. Cheltenham Bach Choir has also made two appearances on BBC Television's 'Songs of Praise'.

We hope that you enjoy having a look around our website. Please contact us if we can help you - and we will be very pleased to see you at a concert or a rehearsal!
