One of the most heart-rending of Requiems – written by Brahms following the death of his mother – this stunning choral work manages to convey both the sacred and the humane, with waves of grandeur, yet great intimacy. This evening of Remembrance will also include Howells ‘Take Him, Earth, For Cherishing’ written in response to the death of President John F Kennedy. Cheltenham Bach Choir, under our Music Director David Crown, are joined by two notable international soloists and the Northern Lights Symphony Orchestra for what promises to be a most inspiring evening in the wonderful setting of Cirencester Parish Church.

The Cheltenham Bach Choir present Handel’s perennial favourite, the ‘Messiah’, in what promises to be the musical highlight of Cheltenham’s Christmas season.

With top notch soloists, including local soprano Hannah Davey and baritone Peter Savidge, the excellent Regency Sinfonia, and of course the choir, on top form under Music Director David Crown. Make sure to book your tickets early to enjoy this inspirational musical treat!
